As a Managing Partner at Ankom Enterprises, I’ve come to understand that this industry is not just about machines, molds, or materials—it’s about precision, consistency and trust.

Set in Order (Seiton)

Every tool, mold, and accessory has a defined place. We use clear labeling, shadow boards, and standardized storage systems to ensure that operators can quickly locate and return items. This reduces downtime during mold changes and improves overall workflow efficiency.

Standardize (Seiketsu)

We have established standard operating procedures (SOPs), visual controls, and checklists to maintain consistency in 5S practices. These standards ensure that best practices are followed uniformly across shifts and departments.

⁠Sort (Seiri)

We systematically eliminate unnecessary items from the shop floor, tool rooms, and storage areas. Only essential tools, molds, and materials required for current production are kept in designated areas, reducing clutter and minimizing the risk of errors or delays.

Shine (Seiso)

Cleanliness is strictly maintained across all machines and workstations. Regular cleaning schedules are followed for injection moulding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment to prevent contamination, detect abnormalities early, and extend equipment life.

Sustain (Shitsuke)

Continuous training, audits, and management involvement help us sustain 5S discipline. We encourage employee participation and accountability, making 5S a part of our culture rather than a one-time initiative.
